Jamie and Mary are based in absolute paradise — old-school singletrack adventures,
accessible and non-intimidating bike parks, and incredible mountain scenery everywhere you
look.
Jamie’s encyclopedic knowledge of the huge trail network, conditions and weather meant we
could just turn up and ride. As three 50-something women from NZ, we had five bespoke days of
sensational mountain biking based out of Samoëns.
Having ridden in Europe before, we were well aware of the number of trails available to choose
from and loved outsourcing these decisions to Jamie. We happily pored over maps each day,
knowing we were in very capable hands. Between Jamie’s mechanical know-how, International
Mountain Leader skills and seemingly endless energy, we always felt challenged, but well
looked after.
And the post-ride beers, along with Jamie’s stories from every corner of the globe, were pretty
epic too!
Mary, you were an absolute dream to deal with — fantastic suggestions, endless patience and
brilliant communication throughout.
Thanks so much, team, for such a special experience and for giving us so many fantastic
memories. We had an absolute blast!
