Eiger Sanction mountain bikingOutstanding views and epic singletrack on the Eiger Sanction

We’ve toughened-up this trip with longer days in the saddle and an extra high pass day. For those of you who’ve ridden the Chamonix to Zermatt with us, the Eiger Sanction is now more comparable to a week long version of that trip.

The trip is fully guided. There is traditional chalet-style and mountain hotel accommodation throughout including one of the most stunning high mountain hotels in Europe. This is another real classic in our point-to-point repertoire and is not to missed!

Following in the tradition of our unique Chamonix-to-Zermatt route, Ride the Alps is the only mountain bike operator offering this pioneering trip. We have put together a fabulous route with outstanding mountain biking and breathtaking scenery from start to finish. Read the trip itinerary »

Why choose Ride the Alps

Ride the Alps was set up in 2002 by Jamie Carr and is run by Jamie and his partner Mary Kirkbride. The company was born from Jamie’s deep passion for mountain biking and its primary aim is to offer mountain bikers the opportunity to ride on some of the best trails in the French and Swiss Alps. Jamie is one of the select few guides who has International Mountain Leader (IML) and British Mountain Bike Leader qualifications and 2010 will be Jamie’s 25th year of riding mountain bikes and 18th year of guiding mountain bike trips all over the world.
