Hi there,
As the memories of this summer’s mountain biking holidays begin to fade, it’s time to start planning for next year’s adventures! We’ll be running things a little differently next season in order to make Ride the Alps a more cost effective business and to make it cheaper for you to come on holiday with us :o)
All of our usual fabulous holidays will be on offer - Chamonix to Zermatt, The Eiger Sanction, Alpine Singletrack Weeks and Weekends, Roam in the Roam and the Tour du Mont Blanc. The main difference to previous years is that you will pick your own dates. No pre-fixed dates will be advertised. There will also be more choice within each trip. You can decide yourself whether or not you want to have full van support including airport transfers or if you want to tough it out on a self-supported ride where you carry your own gear. We will arrange and organize everything as before. There will be a fixed guiding and admin fee for each trip that will be split between the number of riders and paid in advance. You will pay both for your accommodation and your chosen level of van support directly to the providers during the trip. This means, for example, that you’ll be able to ride Chamonix to Zermatt for as little as 599* euro per person in 2010! This approach is more suited to groups of mountain bikers but we will run a trip with just one or two people. Obviously it’s going to be expensive for a single rider or a couple, however, we will put people in touch with one another if we get a few inquiries for the same trip from individuals so that you can share costs.
All the trips we run are currently advertised on our website but we’ll be updating the content over the next few weeks to reflect the changes we’ve just described. We’ll also be uploading all the photos from our 2009 season so you can see for yourself the kind of fantastic riding we were doing this year! Keep checking for updates here http://www.ridethealps.com/holidays/
In the meantime, if you have any questions about any of our holidays or if you already know you want to ride one of our trips and want to reserve your dates then please get in touch by email info@ridethealps.com or phone on +33 450 870061. We’re very happy to talk through any of our holidays with you and if you let us know numbers and what level of support you want, we can give you a quote right away.
We hope to see you out here in the Alps in 2010.
Best wishes,
Mary & Jamie
