Alpine Fat Biking – season two is almost here!

Winter is coming and Jamie & I are really looking forward to putting the fat bikes through their paces again this season. If you've never tried Alpine Fat Biking make this winter the one when you have a go. We mix up exploring remote valleys with fun blasts down the pistes.

Winter is coming and Jamie & I are really looking forward to putting the fat bikes through their paces again this season. If you’ve never tried Alpine Fat Biking make this winter the one when you have a go. There is so much fun and adventure to be had on two wheels during an alpine winter and it’s amazing what the bikes can do. The super-size tyres roll easily over compacted snow and ice and if the gradient is in your favour they can plough through powder giving you the ride of your life!

We mix up exploring remote valleys with fun blasts down the pistes. One of our favourite fat biking routes of last year was a morning climb up to the Refuge de Bostan on a pisted track, followed by morning coffee at the Refuge soaking up the breathtaking view and then the best reward of all the super-fast run back down the mountain.

We’ll be riding our fleet of specialised “Fatboys” again this year as well as Jamie’s “On One”. Have a look here to get a good look at the bikes

We had the first big fall of snow in the mountains last week so Jamie and I will soon be breaking out the fatties and taking to the trails. Have a look at the short video clip from last season. Jamie is blasting down a trail into Les Carroz in fantastic snow conditions. If you fancy a bit of Alpine Fat Biking yourself please email us at [email protected] for more information.
